Getting Married
Why choose a Church?
If you have decided that Broadway would be the perfect venue for your wedding, St Michael and All Angels church provides a beautiful country setting for a traditional wedding. There are two ceremonies to choose from to make your wedding personal to you and a day to remember.

How do I get married?
There are some legal requirements which concern your eligibility to marry in church. If you do not live in Broadway, the vicar or a member of the staff team will be happy to help explain these to you. Also, if either party has been previously married, please consult the vicar as to what legal requirements apply.

When can I marry?
Booking a church wedding needs to be planned well in advance of the proposed date. If you are considering a Church marriage, contact the vicarage as soon as possible and bear in mind that popular dates for weddings do get booked up quickly. Please remember that a marriage cannot go ahead unless all the legal formalities have been completed.
Please note -This leaflet is for guidance only, for further information on any aspect of the formalities, or the ceremony of marriage, please seek the advice of the vicar.
